Hello, and welcome to ickle_firsties!
First and foremost, if you haven't already read the rules, please do so now.
As already explained, this community was created by cypress_vine and the_andorran with the purpose of underage smut writers coming together without having to worry about age limit and older smut writers chiding them for their age.
It's understood that there are several people that have a bit of a problem with the concept of this community. If you really have a serious complaint and think that this community isn't within it's rights to be created, then please do e-mail either of the moderators.
For those that have joined, I welcome you, yet again.
The first challenge will be posted on August the 1st. Sometime on August 1st, anyway. I'm terrible with time zones, though it'll probably be late afternoon Central American time. There will be one month to complete the challenge, and you can post your fic at any time during that month.
You absolutely must put the appropriate warnings on fics. Warnings include things that others may find squicky, but you need to include the pairing and whether it is slash or het. Some people don't like slash, some don't like het, and most don't want to be surprised when they expect to read a nice, easy Ron/Hermione and are instead gifted with Draco/Lucius.
The challenges aren't going to be hardcore. As already explained, R is the highest rating we'll allow. After the first challenge is over, I'll begin an archive, likely on Geocities or another cheap, free, easy site and we'll have a collection of all the fics written.
Thank you very much for joining and/or watching, and I hope you enjoy. If there's something I haven't covered, or something you want clarification on, please feel free to e-mail me.
EDIT: I think I've had a little bit of a change of heart. meghan_jinx has brought to my attention something I think should be acknowledged. You can do whatever sort of squick you like, as long as you can keep it in an R-rating. Kink and squick is natural, and everyone likes a bit of it, but you can only use it if you can keep it R-rated.
